Build-to-Suit, Spec Home or Large Development?

Thousands of people decide to buy a new home every year, but once that decision is made, the choices are just starting. Full custom homes are a unique expression about you and the way you live your life. They are also time consuming and can be very expensive. Tract homes (large developments that offer a few models with upgrades and options available) are also a good way to purchase, especially on a tighter budget. These are homes that are generally in the $200,000 to $$400,000 range. They offer an excellent value and give you the most square footage for your investment. You can choose exactly how much you spend by controlling your upgrades. Full basements, custom cabinets, high-end doors and molding, hardwood and ceramic flooring which are generally included in spec homes and custom homes are all options that cost extra.
